YSY® Yeast (Papiliotrema terrestris PT22AV) is AgroVentures’ flagship biological crop protection product, developed from wild yeast strains isolated from disease-resistant plants ecotypes. Product Description

YSY® Yeast is a biological control agent based on Papiliotrema terrestris PT22AV a yeast strains that colonizes plant tissues and actively competes with pathogenic organisms. Its mode of action relies on niche competition, occupying space and nutrients at pathogen entry points, rather than producing toxic metabolites typical of chemical fungicides and bacterial biocontrol. Plant biostimulation and resistance induction complement its mode of action. This makes YSY® Yeast inherently safer for humans, beneficial organisms, and the environment.
